• 'Isabella who?'

Four years in art school gave me a love of colour, texture, and clean, considered lines.

Seven years in the military gave me an eye for the smallest detail and a heart for the things that matter: friends, lovers, loyalty. As an officer and junior pilot I learned to lead, to plan, to swallow my fear, to persevere.

Thirty years in the sea taught me to notice the tiny joys in life. Light on glassy water, salt-caked cliffs, the crinkle beside a smiling stranger’s eye.

  • It's a forever thing

Every wedding I shoot, I’m thinking about the fact that I’m making photographs that will be looked at for a lifetime, hopefully longer. It’s an honour.

I document love, beauty, and fun in all forms, making images that are intentional, timeless, polished little memory sparks that will always bring back the indescribable feeling of every unrepeatable moment.

  • My approach

I know when and how to blend into the background, and when and how to take the lead. In Cornwall, you’ll benefit from my local knowledge and planning/logistics know-how as soon as we start to chat.

No matter where you’re getting married, I'll be excited to share pointers regarding timings, lighting, flow, and stress-mitigation. By the time your day comes around I’ll feel like that go-to friend of yours who always has the best tips and recommendations.

  • Two things I want on your wedding day:

    1. For you both to laugh at least seven hundred times.

    2. For us, together, to make photographs that you will look at when you’re ninety, and all the intensity and joy of the day will come rushing back to you and put a lump in your throat. You’ll look at your young selves, your perfect beaming little faces, and you’ll be bowled over by how gorgeous and in love you were. You’ll feel it all again as if it was only a few heartbeats ago.
