THE SEEDS

STUDIO HONUA was built on the belief that small business owners, artists, and thing-builders with great taste deserve (and need) fresh, relevant, interesting design.

But you need it without the London-sized invoice, and without dedicating a tonne of thinking energy and creative power into the briefing process.

And you need it, like, yesterday.

02.

THE ROOTS

We’ve done away with the fluff and bloat of agency overheads, and stripped our costs back to pure talent.

Our designers and writers don’t feel like they’re missing out on an office kombucha fridge/ping pong table, because they have total creative and geographic freedom.

03.

You don’t need an MA in psychology to see how this way of living and working makes for a far happier, friendlier, brighter, more present and efficient creative than a boujie HQ, a company gym subsidy, and an annual Christmas booze-up ever could.

THE LEAVES

With our support, the HONUA creative working on your project has designed their own life from the foundations up, to optimise their ability to thrive physically, artistically, professionally. They’re getting enough movement, sunlight, and social connection.

Work hard, make art, be nice to people.

04.

It also means you’ll get replies and deliveries from different time zones while you sleep. All our offshore creatives have British/Australian passports but live east of the UK, in cheaper lands, so we wake up and get going before you do. We think you’ll find this arrangement suits you quite nicely.

THE FRUIT

If we boil it down, all the above means you get better quality designers and writers with a sharper eye/voice, more flair, and a higher-level creative vision, for way less cash.

FOOTNOTES FROM THE FOUNDER

05.

Too much expense, time, energy, uncertainty, faff. Too many fucking calls.

So I reverse engineered my life so that I could work for and support creative entrepreneurs and small business owners all day long, without having to charge them inflated, unfeasible prices.

And it turns out, nothing I’ve done professionally before* satisfies me more than supplying good people with good tools for building their dreams. Talk to us. You’ll believe it.’

‘It took me traveling all over this crazy planet to realise the people I connect with best are creative entrepreneurs. These are the people I get the most energy and spirit out of talking to, and want to give the most energy, time, and attention to. The people I surround myself with in my personal life.

I kept hearing this from them during deep chats about their businesses: good design, copy, creative services in general =
a pain point.

* Long, weird story for another time.
